Group wins for Harrison

As we progressed through June Harrison gained another 3 points at Southern counties towards his junior warrant with another 2 shows on the horizon.

Firstly was southern counties where Harrison got 1st place in both Minor Puppy and Puppy and then got best puppy dog and best puppy in breed. Thanks must go to Judge Hayden Platts who wrote this:

9 months slate boy who is very well built all through. He has lots of potential at this stage, good head, nice broad skull of correct proportions, well laid shoulder and good length of upper arm, well formed ribs for age nice strong rear, moved as construction suggested he should. Best Puppy and Best Puppy in Group well done on his performance in the big ring.

Secondly came Border Union under another breed Specialist Kathleen Delaney. Again Harrison won his puppy class, got Best puppy Dog and Best Puppy in Breed, so it was off to another group final. It was a very hot day but this did not put Harrison of and his performance in the big group ring could not be faulted and the judge awarded him Puppy Group one . Whoop Whoop

Critique:

9 month old slate that exudes quality and demands your attention.Balanced throughout he has great head shape, with strong jaw and correct bite, excellent pigment and softest dark eyes. Nicely arched neck into well laid shoulders, long deep rib cage, well angled rear with low set hocks which propelled him effortlessly around the ring. Finished off with a profuse coat of good texture.Delighted to award him BPIB and go on to win the Puppy Group . Well done

Harrison then went off to Blackpool and won his class and gained Best puppy Dog . All three shows gained him 9 points towards his Junior Warrant.
